Rope Light Troubleshooting
This section provides an easy reference guide to the common problems which may occur during the operation of your rope lights. These problems and possible causes are provided by our customers and experienced technicians.

The LED rope light does not light after install a new power cord |
- Incorrect cutting mark
- The connector pin is not inserted into the center of the wires of the rope light
- Bad pin connection
- Short circuit by the incorrect connector pin insertion.
- Power cord failure

Whole LED rope light does light |
- Blown fuse
- Wire discontinuity
- Overloaded

A section does not light |
- LEDs failure at that section.
- Wire discontinuity
- Sharp bending of the rope light

LEDs flicker |
- Rectifier failure
- Power source unstable

LED rope light failure outdoor |
- Overheat the LEDs if buried the rope light to deep
- Short circuit by rain
- LEDs damage by sun shine or heat
- PVC damage by weather erosion
- Blown fuse
